April , 2010
As some of you know, I have donated a couple of my designs to St Vincent De Paul to be auctioned off at De Young Museum, and they were accepted and used for their publicity, which had already put me beside myself.
The pieces have been show cased at The California Museum in Sacramento in Honor of Woman's History Month March 4th.

I am not sure where to begin sharing this next excitement with you:

Last week all contestants' garments were Juried , and .....HERE IT COMES....(don't really know how to say this, because now I am really beside myself) ....
This morning I received a call from Sally Rose, the organizer of the event for the St Vincent De Paul and told me..... that I WON two First Prizes....Can you believe this?!!
I believe (because I was so excited I couldn't really hear everything in details) they were for best creative- evening/day -with the recycled concept award...or something like that....Sally told me I should call her back if I have any questions....SO if you like to know more I will find out once I come back to earth :).....

This really means so much to me and my children, and am so happy to share this with all of you that have supported me all these years.
I don't really know where this will lead, but today it is a very exciting day.
I do hope to see you all on the 9th of April at De Young Museum.
Please scroll down for more information about it.

Thank you for letting me share this with you
